It’s been quite a while since I last shared anything. Over the past several months, I’ve regularly offered art supplies to Heather, hoping to coax her into joining me in drawing, painting, or even just coloring. Regrettably, I couldn’t seem to spark her interest in any form of artistic expression.
But I wasn’t ready to give up just yet. Today, I brought along some turquoise Play-Doh. Sitting beside Heather, I sculpted a small cat with half of the Play-Doh ball. To my surprise, she watched with genuine interest.
I stepped out briefly to check something in the kitchen. When I returned, I was delighted to see Heather crafting a beautifully shaped pinch pot. For the next few hours, she molded and remolded the Play-Doh. I had nearly lost hope that Heather would rediscover her creative spark, but today served as a powerful reminder never to give up.
